How to fold a burrito correctly is a life-skill that's nothing short of life-changing for a burrito lover! When done right, it turns a burrito into a handheld eating pleasure, as opposed to a dripping mess that eventually needs to be eaten with a fork.
All it takes is mastering 3-simple steps and the results are so worthy.

Fold a Burrito Step-by-Step
- Warm the tortilla shell on a dry griddle over medium-high heat, about 30 seconds per side. This will make the tortilla more pliable. Remove to a cutting board or plate. Spoon the burrito filling on the tortilla in a line, slightly south of center.
- Fold the two side edges over the filling.
- Keeping the folded sides in place, bring the bottom edge up over the filling. Then tuck the tortilla tight around the filling and roll up.
- That’s all there is to it! It will end up looking like a neat little package and it’s ready to eat!
