This easy one-minute omelet is a cinch to make and has a rich flavor and creamy texture. This is based on Jamie Oliver's recipe and honestly, it will be ready in under a minute and will taste so good!
French omelettes may taste good, but they can be a bit of a hassle to make. Jamie Oliver's omelet, on the other hand, is quick and tasty. So grab some eggs, cheese, a 10-inch nonstick skillet, and some cheddar cheese and give this ultra-quick omelet a whirl.
Recipe tips
The size of the pan is important, as it will impact the thickness of the egg layer and cooking time. I like to use a 10-inch nonstick skillet for it. You could also use a 12-inch skillet, the omelet will be a little thinner and will cook for a little less time. Also, nonstick is key so the eggs won't stick and the cooked omelet will easily slide out of the pan.
I like a sharp cheddar cheese for the omelet, but you could also use Monterrey Jack or Fontina, just be sure to finely grate it so it melts quickly.
