How to Cut  a Fresh Pineapple

Lay pineapple on its side and slice off the top and bottom.

Stand fruit upright and using sharp knife, cut off the skin, letting knife follow natural curve of pineapple.

Remove the brown "eyes"

Trim pineapple to remove "eyes" by slicing away as little flesh as possible.

To cut wedges: stand fruit upright and cut straight down around core. Discard core.

Cut the planks into wedges or cubes.

To make rings: Lay fruit on its side and slice 1/4-inch thick. Use a small round cutter to remove core from each slice.
