Make the crust by combining the flour, salt, and confectioner's sugar in a food processor and pulse to blend.

Add the butter and pulse until the mixture clumps together.

Press the crust mixture firmly and evenly into a greased 9 x 13 baking pan. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Remove to a wire rack and let cool.

Combine filling ingredients in a saucepan and cook for 2 minutes. Add vanilla. Pour mixture over the cooled crust.
