Easy Puff Pastry Asparagus Tart

This easy tart is ready in just 30 minutes—and the variations are endless!

Unfold pastry on a piece of parchment paper and roll out to a  9 x 13 rectangle. Transfer with paper to baking sheet.

Run a butter knife around pastry to form a border, about 1-inch in from the edge (don’t cut all the way through).

Spread a mixture Boursin and mascarpone cheese over pastry, inside border

Grate fresh lemon zest over the cheese. 

Arrange asparagus over tart. Brush asparagus and edges of tart lightly with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt.

Bake until puffed and golden, 15 to 18 minutes.  Top with fresh herbs.
