Pasta with Vodka Sauce
Melt butter in pot over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and crushed red pepper flakes and cook, stirring often, until softened.
Add tomato paste, then whole tomatoes. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring often, until sauce has thickened slightly, about 10 minutes.
Stir in 1 cup cream. Transfer sauce to a blender, and blend until very smooth. Transfer sauce back to pot.
Return to stove and stir in vodka, parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper.
Cook pasta in boiling water until al dente. Drain and serve with the vodka sauce and grated Parmesan.
