Best-Ever Fried Shrimp

These golden fried shrimp are perfectly crisp on the outside, moist and tender on the inside, and totally greaseless.

All you need are these easy-to-find ingredients.

Mix the buttermilk and Cajun seasoning. Add the shrimp, cover and let stand for at least 30 minutes, or up to 1 hour.

Dredge the shrimp in the seasoned flour mixture, by draining off excess buttermilk and coating the shrimp evenly with the flour mixture.

Fry shrimp in batches until golden brown, 1 to 2 minutes. Carefully remove the shrimp and let drain.

Serve the fried shrimp with the homemade cocktail sauce and lemon and enjoy!
