Italian Agrodolce Sauce

Agrodolce is the term for any Italian sweet-and-sour sauce made with vinegar and sugar and is delicious!

Combine vinegar, sugar, onion, and fennel seeds.

Simmer until thickened sightly and onions are softened, about 15 minutes.

Add the plumped raisins, pine nuts and grapes. Cook 5 minutes.

Serve with grilled or roasted chicken, pork, or sausages.
